It all depends on how much u paid for this watch. R u willing to spend $2/3k or more for correct dial n hands? Not only money but also luck. I've been down that road n it's not a pleasant one. I would rather get rid of this and find a proper one. Not to mention in the mean time, u r wearing a watch that has improper dial. It would really bother me.
I blame it on the autoconnect. |

Not bothered by it at all. I rather restore this piece with due time I'm in no rush ... I use another sub as my everyday watch regardless

The case is real / authentic. During the transition period, the case with serial number in the range of mid 6 million through possibly 7 million range did not have "Registered Design" marking. This includes Sub 5513 as well since I have both the SD 1665 and 5513 that do not have "Registered Design", and they're authentic watches. If anyone has doubts, there are several Subs, SDs on the net with serial in the mid 6-7 million range that do not have "Registered Design" marking on the case.
Here's one such SeaDweller with 6.7 million serial number that was sold by Ed Delgado (DoubleRedSeaDweller.com) complete with boxes and papers.

Thank you for the pictures to reference U5512. I simply choose not to
Return the watch it's my decision nothing else. I'm going to restore the watch little by little I'm in no rush My watch is a 6.6 mil so it does match the above scenario pointed out By U5512 - Thank you |
