Precisely

I switch when I feel like it and don't regret having a $xxxxx dollar watch collection waiting for me in the safe deposit. If it bother you then by all means, sell it.

How do you guys rotate multiple watches?
I felt the same way as you when I had my 39mm explorer, TT sub-c, and seamaster.

I don't have the problem anymore- what i did was I flipped both Rolex watches for a piece I love. I'd say consolidate the collection and get one piece you love. If you've got one watch, your decision in the morning is simple- wear the watch or don't wear the watch.

It sounds like you might prefer to have one. If so sell the others. That maybe a good option. I don't really wear all of mine but I'm too lazy to deal with the hassles that go along with selling them at this point. I find I'm in the mood for a couple different ones at a time. I see what I have as more of a collection or hobby than having a watch or some ties or shoes to wear. I don't feel I have to wear the watches to have them add value to my life. I don't think they are loosing that much value so if they sit here that's ok. It's a hobby whereby I can enjoy them by wearing them or not. They are fairly liquid so they can always be sold if I get tired of them. That's how I see it. Regards. Russell.

I have four watches. (DJ II, GMT, speedmaster and a Tudor BBB). I typically wear the DJ II for the four days I wear a suit at work and then switch to the BBB in the evenings. Then alternate between the GMT and BBB on the other days. About once a month, I will wear the speedmaster for a few days. This works for me at the moment though it may become a bit more challenging if I add any more watches.

I actually completely understand
I'm generally much happier with one watch, or at least, one clear alpha

Especially since I travel for work frequently and it can be a pain choosing a watch
Trick for me is finding the one watch that goes with a suit and is also acceptable for going on runs around the hotel area or getting on a bike in the gym (I am not leaving my watch in a hotel room), works for business meetings and also for exploring the city including on buses and subways in areas that may be dicey, etc.

Two mechanical watches is a great number to have as they never wind down and need resetting if you go day by day.

My Tudor Submariner is my daily "go to" watch.

My El-Cheapo stainless steel watch on a leather band bought at an Air Force Base Exchange is my dress watch (that is suit and tie: Sunday as I am a Methodist Minister).

My Casio Illuminator is my around the house and "blue jean run to the store/yard work" watch.

Obviously, not difficult for me as each watch has a purpose and function and not really what I would call a collection. But, they are mine and much loved.

Gunter Sachs didn't have problems dealing with multiple ladies or multiple watches. I can handle the multiple watches. I guess you must be better with the multiple ladies.

I save my favorite for weekends and rotate the other two during the week! When the collection grows past three that may change.

Three watches is not a lot. I got nine. Broadly speaking, I assign which watch to wear depending on occasion and where I am going. Dressy watch for attending events and functions. Sports watch for weekend casual. Keeping them in frequent rotation means the chances of me getting bored with any particular watch is much reduced.

some folks switch everyday. My lifestyle (work from home, basically casual clothing daily) is best suited for rotating 3 watches 5-7 days at a time. Then of course, certain occasions call for certain watches.

Right now I don't have that problem since I only have the Explorer. Later this year I hope to add a Black Bay Black...then I'll have that problem.

I usually rotate between my main two which is determined by what I'm wearing. Then I have two other pieces that are worn for dinners and get-togethers.

I have my work beater, Tudor BB Blue. I usually come home and swap it out with one of my others, Bluesy, pepsi, GMT2c, or zenith. Just depends on what I plan on doing after work, if anything. Then in the morning on work days, I slap the BB back on. Weekends, I tend to coordinate with what I'm wearing.

I just watched John Mayer in concert on Palladia and the guy changes watches when he goes back stage between during an encore! Not sure what he was wearing but he goes to a sub or dweller on nato.

I purpose all my watches. Like for active activists and water stuff I go with my panerai. Everyday at work I got with my DJII. And my outing watch is my DD.
