Looks awesome on both!

Have you had the problem with flaking of the PVD on the bracelet plots?

was it a preowned piece?

im guessing its from the last owner resting his arm on a desk, its in the right place and considering its only the top plots that have this problem

Congrats!!! I love the BB! It's the watch that started my love for forged carbon.

I would put it on the diver rubber strap with Ti tang buckle

Awesome watch. Congrats.

How has the drowned carbon case held up?
I'm thinking about a Carbon Diver

You mean titanium ones? It has crossed my mind just to remove the PVD coating completely from these... But I'm not sure how it looks with the PVD clasp, as that coating is still perfect.

My spellcheck first made the same change on my "pre-owned" post.

Mine is in a good condition, but there are FC cases that look "soft". As if someone had polished them. I don't think you can polish FC. Perhaps someone has tried it, and failed. Couple really ugly cases on chrono24 at the moment.

My Diver was 2013 and minty case wise. I'd say that the Bumblebee (2009) is 95% or so. So definitely seems as if the cases will hold up nicely. One thing I've noticed from pics of watches, later in the FC case production the angles seemed to have gotten a bit sharper... Perhaps AP advanced the FC technology. Really a shame that they abandoned it.

Just order a new set from Clearwater. I kept them on the rubber and the PVD on the hornback strap.

Mike, do you know the price of the Plots in the US?

I'll soon be visiting and if Clearwater has them readily available in stock I might as well order a set.

AP's new policy in the EU seems to be parts on an exchange basis, just as Rolex.

I'm getting a new set of Plots (PVD coated) from AP as a goodwill gesture for these old ones, but they want the old ones back.

It's PVD not DLC? PVD isn't resistant enough, DLC is ok, wore for some time the reedition in LE from 2009 of the Pam 028, in DLC, not a single scratch, heard they invented something even better, it's supposed to be even more scratch free than ceramic and unbreakable, must be great but I like the light weight of ceramic also, FC is lighter but ceramic appeals to me more

Arnaud, yes it's PVD. DLC is much better, probably reason why they don't last.
