This is interesting:
Agree with the attorneys and all that. I'd not go crazy, I would take it calmly. I'd invest/save 99% of it, which is a lot. And then I'd live with the remaining 1%, which is about 10 million.

1) A Nice house wherever my wife wants to move, probably around San Diego, an area we both like (2-4 M). This includes all related expenses like first class tickets and renting a luxury car for driving around, etc.
2) I'd give my parents and my parents in law 5M, so they can live on the interest (300k/year) for the rest of their lives.
3) Let my wife go on a shopping spree to an upscale mall and spend without regrets on my current Amex (20k, hopefully)
4) Fly first class wherever my wife wants to go. Europe, maybe.
5) Buy some nice watches that I don't buy right now, but one at the time so that I can enjoy them (200k in 2 years).

I definitely would buy some nice cars. What I would NOT buy:

1) A private jet.
2) A yacht.
3) An apartment in NY.

I'd invest in my business no more than 1M and continue working because I don't see myself in the future just doing nothing.

Thank you to the OP for the chance of day dreaming a little bit.

I would run right home to my wife, open the door and shout out to her, "Honey, I just won the lottery, hurry up and pack your bags", then she would ask back all excited, "Great, where are we going", and I would respond, " NOWHERE, NOW GET THE F--K OUT"

LOL

Establish a foundation in perpetuity that lobbies legislators on federal and state levels to enact tougher laws against cruelty to animals. Specifically, puppy mills and dog fighting.

Great looking corgis, by the way.

I didn't total the amount I spent on tickets yet, but I didn't win squat. I only hope those who won really could use it.

a game i always play under the shower...
- a nice pad in/around sydney, probably palm beach or whale beach for the european winter.
- a fully equipped camper van to travel around australia in more or less a year or two.
- travel, travel, travel always on first class but always off the beaten track. south america, china, us & canada, the transsiberian would be my first choices. then when i get bored i'd go skiing with a private instructor to get my moves better. skiing all continents would be a nice life goal.

I think the 3 winners would disagree if they find time now that they are busy counting all that money

Wow that is a lot of cash.
Remember Charlie in willie wonka just bought 1 chocolate bar.

I personally know a married couple who played $75 a week for years...
they hit for 20 million. They still play every week.

I'm quite sensible so,

I'd buy the Emirates stadium(Arsenal) then have it bulldozed, whilst they are playing

I'd want a working Millennium Falcon to fly about in, think it would need Harrier jump jet technology or something. Need to find a company to build this.

Did I hear the playboy Mansion is up for sale, will have that.

I'd buy an island with a fake volcano, you know james bond style, that opens up so the Falcon can land in.

And I'd buy the Mona Lisa, just so I could draw some specs and a beard on it.

How much was the powerball anyway? Might have gone over.

1. Charter jets for every member currently signed-up for the 2016 Vegas GTG
2. Purchase a Sub/No Date for every 2016 Pledge member
3. Book rooms at the hotel of choice for the Vegas GTG for any member attending, room service and "extras" included
4. Have a Platona giveaway every hour, on the hour for the duration of the Vegas gathering
5. Fly all moderators and spouses/significant others to the GTG. All other expenses comped

That should be a good start

I have seen his Instagram, he already has the means to live as if he's won.

Amongst other things he is a professional gambler.

I would spend it all. I mean all of it. You will never see a hearse driving down the road with luggage on top.
