Advice: Two-Tone GMT, BLNR or Sub-C Date?
Ok, so I need some opinions/advice. I have a dilemma:
So I own the GMT BLNR (Blue/Black), Sub-C date, and the Datejust II Fluted Bezel (blue stick dial) and I'm very happy with my collection. Lately, however, I've been craving some gold in my collection. So I'm considering flipping my Sub-C (2014, unpolished) for a GMT-C Two tone (2014 unpolished), but I'd also have to pay a $3600 USD as well to the second hand dealer, all boxes and papers included for both my watch and the dealer's. And granted, I already have a GMT BLNR (which I refuse to trade), is this a good move? I honestly think the two tone GMT is the best looking two tone Rolex in the entire two tone lineup (maybe the slate gray Datejust II with green romans is equivalent) but should I give up an all time classic in my Sub-C plus $3600 USD for the two tone GMT? Are the BLNR and Two Tone GMT distinctive enough to own both? So to summarize I'd be trading a Sub-C for a Two tone GMT-C, leaving me with the Two tone GMT-C, a BLNR and a Datejust II fluted bezel w/stick dials minus $3600 I'd pay to the dealer. Opinions please? |
