I would do that. If I lived in the US I would probably already own one. I just do not see an abundance of platinum Daytonas available in Asia Pacific.

I would trade for it, but if it were me, I'd trade the Day Date + the Yachtmaster. But either way, I'd trade. The Platona is an unreal piece and the most interesting modern Rolex by far IMO.

I would keep the YG sub and GMT and trade everything else for the Platona.

Once you were platinum all other PM's kind of pale in comparison.

I would make it work if that was what I wanted. Buy right, trade right and it should be a good transaction for a great watch. I would move whatever I was not wearing and also what I would not wear once my new watch arrived. Every watch on the list can easily be replaced if you want, so I would let the wear determine my trades.

YG GMT and YG SUB look alike so I would def. trade in one of the 2 watches. Also remover the YM and add some cash. Keep one SS watch as a low profile watch.
Platona YG GMT SUB No date DD2 perfect 4 watch collection. |

I'd save up for the Platona if you can. Despite having owned several platinum watches (not Platona yet), I continue to enjoy ALL PMs including YG.

I guess it depends on your general personality, do you like to have a wide assortment for your rotations (i.e. shoes, suits, cars ) or do you have your first foremost? I personally have first and foremost, so I'd trade the gold.

I would get rid of the YG Sub and pay the difference for the platinum Daytona.
