Service when indicated by the watch, not the calendar. Other than that, I wear it and do whatever. Really don't think about it much.

Reminds me of my father who went scuba diving with his 20 yo 14060 - never serviced, pressure tested or changed gaskets. Lol, it sure seems like he's stupid but he just didn't think about it, it's his everyday watch and he uses it for everything. It all went well though!😄

If a watch isn't critical to a dive, then I can see not caring about getting it serviced but I use mine as a backup to my dive computer. You wouldn't go diving without inspecting your regulator and other equipment.

Yes, the scuba dive was in 2010/2011, and it finally stopped running in 2012, so he had it serviced (quite expensive hehe) - lots of parts that were completely worn out.. 😄
