Cool shot with the cake bits flying thru the air. Faces of the innocent were protected.

not upset about it, purchased to wear not sit and collect dust
Wow!!! That's incredible. It probably saved your wrist. We all know that engineered ceramics are somewhat brittle, definitely not as ductile as a typical metal, but I had no idea that the bezel could crack and disintegrate like this. It's really crazy!

It looks like that, but those are on the fridge door and upright.

now that is hilarious. In all the ways you cracked your AP bezel. "A cake fight broke out"

indeed, a little bit over a year ago I was driving a UTV on some trails.. hit a corner a little too fast and the UTV flipped 3 times , rolex wasn't even scratched both of us got away unscathed in that altercation

come to think of it this is the first serious damage i've caused to a watch, probably not the last though.

Yeah me too I wear and even sleep with them, but I do try not to mess them up, his bezel is smashed, not sure if I should applause or think "he's crazy" since he doesn't seem to care 1 bit, I would be devastated if I did that to mine, of course I guess all depends what you have and if you love that particular watch or not, I suppose it's by far not his nicest watch, like when I messed my BLNR bracelet in a bike accident I really didn't care, it was my vacation beater, for once my wife was right as I wanted to take the 5712 she said to leave it, I would have done that to it I would have been devastated, yeah it's only material and can be fixed or replaced but I tend to "bond" strongly with my favorite watch/es now my car I couldn't care less my diver or 5712 when I had it on the contrary…

About food fights you guys have a funny home, we used to do this in school cafeteria, if I had done this at home or if my son did now, the one responsible would have a little pain in the butt region

well yeah but for dangerous sports I usually try to take it off or wear a more beater type, but I guess we all have our levels, on the rolex forum a few times when I talked about using a Rolex as beater a few guys were outraged, their idea of a beater was a Gshock

I didn't intentionally try and mess it up but s*** happens right?

A beater piece is definitely required (for me a YM 2, its gone through hell already)
