CB use to be readily available but I noticed supply tightening up ever since the Hodinkee video that praised it so much. Seems demand has picked up and supply is relatively restricted. Much like a 5711, easily had just have to wait a few weeks, months or get lucky.

Edit: if you want new from AD.

They are actually difficult to find now and even used go for a fair amount. I know W&S had one but I think it was sold quickly and I'm surprised they offered much of a discount as they're quite in demand by collectors.

Lucky you. I had to pay full retail! Not even a travel box!

If they make 150 per annum and 300 people want it....it's rare. If only 100 people know the brand and wouldn't prefer a calatrava then I would guess massive discounts.

Congrats on a great watch. No wait when I got mine, but in a recent conversation with my ad I was told they have become quite difficult for them to source

I will never ever again open a thread when I see reference to this watch.

Every time I convince myself that I don't need a CB for now, that I should save some money, move some other watches first, etc, I see these glorious pictures and then I am thrown back into the FPJ fever stronger than ever. Oh, my goodness.

Congrats. Gotta stop by the dealer and see if I can try one of these on myself. The movement looks stunning.

Big Congrats! Feel free to keep winding it until you can't wind it anymore. You can feel it stop.

Sadly that's it for 2016....now it's to see what Basle holds but the AD's really have mixed opinions for what PP will do! Nautilus anniversary, some say yes some say after Basle done say 40 not a big enough anniversary!! 5575 some say it will really p$&s off the 175 anniversary owners others say they might make subtle changes , all say after the 5524 no novelties!!!
