I rather like the grey/blue YM. Hopefully the tweaked case will wear a bit larger...

Of those listed, the updated Daytona. However the RG PP 5990 is the one I want most.

What Panda? The new SS ceramic bezel Daytonas have rings on the sub-dials, not solid contrasting sub-dials which characterize the real Panda dial Daytonas. Rings are not Pandas!

Not on the list, but the new Lady DateJust 28 is my favorite. The perfect replacement for the tiny 26mm dial. 28mm is absolutely perfect for tt in my mind. I just wish they would have kept the super jubilee bracelet :/ I much prefer the fluid look of the super jubilee.
I guess this new clasp will solve all of the sizing issues that some of us had with the super jubilee.

Black rings on a white dial is not a panda - solid contrasting circles for the subdials is a panda. The new SS ceramic white dial Daytona is not a panda.

The Explorer I is such an overrated watch. Don't get me wrong, it's nice but doesn't deserve the amount of love it gets. And the "new" one is barely new.

Looks like the Daytona rocked it this year. A Blueberry GMT, SS Coke and a Platinum Sub
would of been a grand slam in the bottom of the ninth down by 3. Though you missed the DD its color palettes & funky designs on the higher end not my cup of tea. On a another note, Rolex seems allocating a lot of time & effort into the YM1 for reasons unknown. |

What is your favorite Basel 2016 watch?
Not a Daytona kind of guy but the black dial is a beauty as is the WG. I have money on a BBbronze and could probably be persuaded to trade my white dialed advisor for this one had the bronze BB not come out at the same time. Too much chocolate and root beer is bad for you.

Explorer & Daytona....
The new Explorer look is well done and make a great day to day watch. I saw the all black variation. The Daytona wasn't altered all that much but it still has that great Daytona look with the black ceramic bezel. Thanks, -MP |

For me it was a toss-up between the Explorer and the Black Bay 36mm. Both look great. These are the first offerings in a few years that have gotten me truly excited to maybe own.

Explorer, longer and broader hands, and blue lum 3-6-9. And perfect size at 39.

I might get a BB36. Fun novelty and the price is right.
As for the others, I'm not sure if I'm a buyer. Maybe the YG Daytona with Green Dial - I like that one a lot. |
