No lug holes on mine. Perhaps lug holes make it rare as you point out. Although I'm not entirely sure whether lug holes, or the absence of them improve the structural integrity of the watch and bracelet. Both the 16610 and 16610LV have seen much rotation while diving with the LV used more at night. I know it's just a minor thing but the slightly larger hour markers make me treat it as a night dive watch. The difference in lume is probably imperceptible to me. But that's the extent of my superstitions.
