I prefer the white dial. Legibility is better to my eye.

They both look great, the white strikes me a bit more initially and is what I'll probably wind up with once the heat cools off

It still does but man the black is growing on me! This will be a win/win, and I'll definitely stick to my original choice. Anyone else having the same troubles........ This pic is making it a little easier for me

You made the right choice in my opinion. The white is an absolute instant classic!

I have always preferred black dials, but the white one is stunning. Making me reconsider.

I haven't seen them in real life, so it's tough to make a good decision. From the pictures I really like the white dial!

Based on the watches I already have with black dials (114060, 116710BLNR...), the white dial would make it a bit more special in my collection. I also like the improved legibility and functionality. I'd rather choose the white dial ceramic Daytona and add a Speedmaster Professional as a black dial chronograph.

So in my opinion, it also depends on the other watches you have. I think I've chosen the black dial Daytona-C if it would be my only watch..?

I can think of a few things that would cause more 'agony', good position to be in having to make the choice 👍

We are fortunate.

Tough choice! I don't have this problem as it is not currently in the budget.

I do like the black but i think ultimately we ALL think 'white' when we think 'daytona' and for that reason i think you would flip it to get the white eventually.

Unless you really prefer one to the other, go with the color you need more for your collection. The white is more sporty but I am not a big fan of the sharp contrast or the "panda" look. Kind of looks "odd" to me - for lack of a better word, though this could add novelty points. From the pictures I have seen, I prefer the back dial. Elegant, understated and more balanced.

This is how it usually goes: if you own the white dial, you want to get the black dial; you then get the black dial, you want the white dial.

Here's how I have always viewed Daytonas - white.

Most Rolex models have black dials. The Daytonas are very nice change of pace.

This being said, I wish the bezel were white instead of black.

Can ceramic bezels be made in white or is this a limitation of the material?

The contrast between bezel and dial makes the white Daytona really stand out.
