not really a fair comparison given the MSRP difference. You could probably buy a black dial and white dial Daytona-C for the price of the BLRO!

You could but this is a fantasy poll where both are SS models.

Daytona-C doing very well so far, thought it would be closer.

I voted Daytona and surprised myself.
I wasn't a huge fan before but the DC really caught my fancy!!

The SS bezel Daytona ain't to shabby, neither.

i would take a SS PepsiC over the Daytona. I assume you didnt mean that. That being said, DaytonaC>BLRO.

I voted for the BLRO because I have a SS daytona, Platona, and only the regular GMTc. I like having variety and color.

Ss Pepsi for me. Possibly WG model as well but it'd be nice to have a ceramic Pepsi.

I like it...you are a driver of change!

If the BLRO came in SS, I'd have owned it upon release and paid list price without much argument.

Against the new Daytona? Tough one...I do love the 116500 in black but a big fan of the GMTs...only reason I don't have a BLRO is cost in gold...I am going to go with "cross that bridge if I ever get there."

How's that for a non-answer? Maybe I should be a politician

I voted Daytona-C. I like the bezel color of the BLNR better than the BLRO.

I agree with you Brian. I wonder why Rolex was not able to make the Blue and Red of the BLRO as bright as the original Pepsi. They were able to make a bright Blue colour on the BLNR, which I prefer. Why did Rolex make different shades of Blue for the BLRO and BLNR?

Because the BLNR was made by first making a blue bezel and then filling half in with black, whereas this could not be done on a two primary colour bezel so there was a bit of colour bleeding. A CokeC will also have a crisp red like the BLNR's blue using the same process.
