The area where the strap connects to the watch case is gonna have a big gap. Ont he DD36 there are special end links that prevent that.

Those dont exist for the DD40 or DD2 so its going to look strange. Some wont like the gap.

Every Basal i prey for a dd40 on leather....i love look of the 36mm but too small for me....the day it grows to 40mm im in....its a bit more under the radar
