Same issue happened to me.
Another issue that developed was the SPRING in the clasp broke and the clasp did not lock properly.

Luckly everything was covered under AP warranty and dealt with quickly.

Well I would definitely prefer having this kind of problem than my ceramic case chipped or cracked, going to drop it off at AP this afternoon, if it is chipped they probably won't fix it, would really like them to do it but have very little hope, if cracked they should as there was absolutely no shock involved at all and the rest of the watch is spotless and to have this at that spot it is almost impossible, it's probably the part of the watch which is by far the most protected one... Anyways good luck and you do have a lot of awesome watches to wear the time they fix this, so don't worry Ben

Not so much matter about the quick fix even if AP could offer in their service centre, BUT its always a risk sending watches into Singapore AP services centres as I had experiences with watches getting unexpected scratches on the watches/bezel/caseback/bracelets after receiving the watch back.
So quick fixing a problem on the watch and receiving another back is truly an issue at least to me.

Remember to always take pictures of the watches before sending in and had the pics time stamped so service staff at AP cannot deny in the event of any issues or disputes.

All the best and may your watches returned with the intended problem fixed but maintain in the same condition the way it goes in!!

Cheers
I cannot speak for Singapore but at the Clearwater service center in Florida the very first thing that happens is the watch gets delivered to the building and then taken up a dummy waiter to the very first guy that opens the box. That first station is where he opens the box and takes extremely detailed pictures. Then the watch movies to a lady who records it into the computer and registers it as well as documents what the owner thinks is wrong with it. Then it moves to the next station where they start to disassemble the watch to see if they can initially find out what's wrong. Then the movement goes on to the movement room and the case to the case room.

I had the exact same issue with my early I-series 15202.

I called my AD for the part and they had me come in within a few days for the installation.

They actually just replaced the entire clasp with their new screwless design. Not sure how I felt about that as I prefer to keep my watches in original condition.

Not mad though, new design is much better IMO. Fix took 10 minutes, I was in and out. Great service.

Hang in there. I can understand your frustration having 2 in the shop at once. Strap your rolex on for a few days and show them until you ultimately put the 44 back on because it's awesome

For the 1st time, I am not happy with AP

I just dropped my 15202 off for its two year check. Both of the pushers on my Bracelet came off during the first two years of ownership. I waited since it didn't detract from my enjoyment of the watch. When I dropped the watch off they said they would replace the clasp with the newer model, which does not have pushers that can fall off. Very happy.

Interesting... Can some of you post a picture here of the new clasp?

Hi,

In Singapore its similar procedures, but after the bad experience I had, its always good to keep a set of the most recent detail pic with date stamped.
My bad experience was on the Ceramic Diver and they managed to scratch my case back and crown guard area while they did the repair for the crown, the crown was pulled out completely when I was trying to adjusting the time.
I am still wondering how did they scratched my crown guard since it should be ceramic.
They fixed the scratch on the case back but could not completely restore the original flawless finish on the crown guard.
I was so upset that I end up selling the watch away at a loss.

Finally fixed! And it doesn't need me to goto APSC which is a bit out of the way for me. A quick trip to the recently opened boutique and a half hour job on the spot and it's done.

AP must be reading this thread because they actually sent the parts to boutique so that it can be installed there for my convenience. Great service!

About the new clasp, it has no baseplates or screws and so reduce the risk that something will come loose. Overall, I am happy again.

Well that's great to hear, once again at 99% I hear good things about their service, really hoping to get the same level for my problem, about them reading the threads I would expect that AP/PP and others, not Rolex of course too many threads for them to follow, do have people reading the most popular forums which are about them or have a sub section like here, probably the best way to understand many things as well as the expectations of your clients, for brands not to do this would really be stupid from them...

Can you post a photo underneath the clasps?

Sorry to see, hang in there.
But yes, screw does come off, by itself.
My wife was wearing her Rolex Airking, she said she felt something and it was a screw coming lose on oyster bracelet. Brought it to RSC and they fixed it.

I really really like APSC. Best part of AP ownership... even more than the watches.
