Yes on second thoughts maybe a frock will not look so bad. I also looked on google maps and was staggered by the 3D vista aspect, i had no idea you could actually pan around and walk up and down the street, though couldn't quite see any signs saying Palo alto watches.
I was drug up down the road in Leicester

Good old Liecester!! many a beery evening there myself!!

on the watch front, i emailed palo Alto watches, saying will get friend to pop around for a cash collection.

To the prompt reply, of 'sure, here's the phone number, it will be $12.50 less since no postage', arrange time for pick up!!.....so there you go!

Hope everything works out.

Whenever I'm 'home' I try to get to the Trip to Jerusalem.
My youngest' born and bred here' was blown away when I took him there for a beer a few years ago.

You can see the street and the building, just go to google map then type in the address, and click on street view, you will 360 degree view of the location, you can even go around the neighborhood, pretty neat, here's google map:

http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl

Again type in the address, then click on street view, you can use your mouse to do 360 degrees view, go up and down the streets

Yes you can't beat the Trip, that hook they swing on a chain can be a bit lethal though, almost had my pint once!!!

On the watch front Scott kindly offered to help out, but i've decided to take the plunge; in for a penny, in for a pound

Would love to see how this plays out, as they might be a good source for me. I like one of the Mido's they have there (head only) to add to my collection as a dress watch.

Palo Alto watches get the thumbs up from me!!!!!!

My watch arrived today from Palo Alto. I'd say they are a bit eccentric, but i can't fault them on communication. So those of you they may have browsed their stock and been interested.

Here's the watch i bought: It's a british RAF pilots Longines, which has originally been issued to the Air Ministry, then re-issued to the Fleet Air Arm. so from Spitfires to Seafires. I think this watch could tell a tale or too!!!

As you can see needs a clean up and service, so after a few days wrist wear will be off to my friendly watch repairer.

So Palo Alto watches get the thumbs up from me!!!!!!
