Adrian, nice photos. Don't forget to zoom in and get up close to the nudis (nudibranchs). With their cool colors and shapes, they look nice when they fill the camera lens. Keep up the good work!

Hey Phil! It's the price I pay for the convenience of a small camera. These shots were taken with a Nikon AW130, which is about the same size of an iphone 4, just about twice as thick. The problem I have with zooming in is that the picture gets blurry due to the movement that current usually causes (and my developing buoyancy control skills, of course). If I get too close to the target (less than 8-10 inches), the camera cannot focus. I hated the fact that I saw some beautiful nudis this trip and I could not get better shots. That pink leaf scorpion fish was beautiful, but there was quite a bit of current when I was trying to get the picture and I was trying to hover upside down (I think you can tell from the angle of the pic), so it came up quit blurry. It was so pretty that I still decided to include the pic. Thank you for the encouragement!!

I'll add a few clearer pics of other critters that were not as exotic as the leaves of the seahorse. Of course, those came up much clearer.

IIRC, that was in Nusa Panida near the Ped Point site. It was our second dive after striking out with the mantas on our first dive at Manta Point. I will take dolphins over mantas any day of the week though, even if just in the distance.

Have a great trip!!! IMO there is nothing like the Caribbean for diving.

Here are a few more shots from the Bali trip.
