OP is nice, but a little dressy. Since I am leaning towards sporty models these days, my vote is for the air king ...

I'm stuck between these two as my first brand new Rolex too.

I'd pretty much decided on a blue OP, then I saw the AK. At first I didn't like it, but seeing videos of it, rather than just photos, the 3 6 9 seems to be far less obvious from most angles which makes the dial look much better. The coloured font, crown and hand are a great touch IMHO.

Hopefully I'll be trying them both in a couple of months.

Go AK, it's different, unique and really just cool!

The OP39 has been the most comfortable and well-balanced Rolex I have ever tried on. Might just be my next; However, it does seem rather plain (not necessarily a bad thing) and Air King is a bit more eye catching.

Let me get some opinions, I have tried on many white dial watches but i am fair skinned and they dont look good imo. And i cant wait to post pics of all 4 when they are all in my possession.

Thanks
I vote for the AK. Like you, the AK has grown on me, and I think it has a very unique dial. I also like that it's 40mm, as 39mm looks a bit small to me (based on trying on the ExplorerI). Also, I never really liked the colored dots around the dial of the OP.

Clearly there is no winner or loser there for all three need to be owned. Maybe with a group purchase discount!!!

I'd go AK. It's a really unique and fun piece. I didn't like it the first time I saw it, but it quickly grew on me. I think it's super cool. Good luck!

The dial of airking looks too busy with large characters
