Thank you for the reminder. Sometimes I feel many of us (myself included) need to take a step back and realize what we have and how quickly it can all be taken away / lost in a blink of a second. The fact that health is needed to enjoy any of our hobbies is many times taken for granted. Silly things and conundrums penetrate the mind on daily basis - when the overall / big picture is what matters at the end of the day, and health is of utmost importance.

Good luck with everything and hope all goes well for you!

Good to hear you're doing ok now. The important part is to remember what happened and stick to the plan.

May God bless you Sir. Hope you get better soon.

It doesn't take long for us to realise that our chase for material possessions leads us nowhere in the context of our health.

Best wishes and I hope you have a speedy recovery. Count yourself lucky you had this early warning so can focus more on your health in future. You're a young guy who will hopefully be able to turn everything around.

A very close colleague of mine died in a car crash last year, left behind wife + 2 young kids. He was 46. A watch appreciators like us.

Hang in there homie. Never forget to say F-it, and do what you want sometimes: relax, unplug, get hammered, whatever it is that chills you out.

Thank you for all the kind words.

Fingers crossed I'm on the mend. I'm also in the position to take it easy for 2-3 months - which I fully intend to do for the summer.

The only problem is that with all this free time on my hands my watch wish list is growing by the hour!

Sometimes it takes a little shock to put things into perspective, which this episode certainly has done. I wish you all good health and great wishes :)

As an economics professor once told my business class..."It's all about ME, INC". Not as a selfish slogan but more of a reminder that the best way to take care of others is to take care of yourself.

Hope all is alright and you have a speedy recovery. It's so easy to get caught up in material objects and forget what's really important. Family, friends and good health.
