That's not what OCD means. You're meticulous, self-conscious or bothered by scratches, but you don't have obsessive-compulsive disorder (for that reason).
If you really want advice on Panerai, you should post it in the Panerai section. If your wrist is big enough, go for one. |

My personal choice would be the GMT over that PAM. However, I do own a Pam(233) and enjoy having some diversity in my small collection. Based on your expressed "requirements" I say go for the PAM. Good luck deciding.

The GMT got my vote. It's a fantastic watch. The 441 is a nice watch and I wouldn't mind one as part of a large collection but if I didn't have a GMT there's no way I'd be getting the 441 before it.

I have the GMTIIC (and according to your original e-mail you have owned one too?) and a 233 dot.
The Panerai is my favourite, but the GMTIIC gets far more wrist time. I like the 441, it is gorgeous and I can confirm that ceramic bodies keep their looks longer as I have a ceramic IWC pilot, and it looks new, always. However, my 233 has developed a fault three times, and always taken care of by Panerai service, but the GMTIIC has never skipped a beat. Well apart from when I dropped it and shattered the bezel, but that was my fault. |

I don't particularly care for the Panerai aesthetic, but it probably suits your needs better than the GMT would.

Thanks for the input everyone. I was going to go with a 116710LN and a PAM510 for a formal / informal combo, but got disappointing news from my AD: Panerai no longer will be using sandwich dials due to cost. Such a disappointment. Oh well, Panerai's loss, Rolex's gain...I went BLNR. Too stunning in person to pass up.
