Not buying from an AD
OK, so I've now that I've bought two Rolex's site unseen via the internet from non-AD's I feel confident in making the statement that when you do this, you will save money, sometimes a significant amount, but will most likely NOT get what's advertised. Chances are great what you receive will NOT be in the described condition, or will not include everything you see in the photos, or may not even be the same watch in the photos (neither of my two purchases were the actual watches pictured). Regardless of whether they are "trusted", or have a good rep, or have great online reviews, that's jut the way it is I guess. I'm 0 for 2 in this respect. Still happy with both my purchases, so I have no regrets, but both purchases were not without their headaches, and neither were the kind of over-the-moon experience that buying a grail luxury watch should be.
