"My next chapter" .... Didn't he learn anything from "The Decision"?
Of all the watches out there and what one usually associates with the NBA, that's a pretty cool choice by KD. |

One of the nicest and most genuine members of the the NBA.
Your mad at a guy who's taking a paycut to live his dream? (At least on NBA salary) All these guys talk trash about these athletes. It's damned if they do, damned if they don't. Anyways........ I think the real story is how will Curry and Thompson deal with someone who demands just as many shots as them. |

Nice watch! Vegas odds are 2-3 for Warriors to win 2017 NBA finals.
Cavs are 5-2, everyone else 8-1 or worse. Would anyone here bet against a rematch? I don't see any other teams making it. If KD starts promoting Rolex, and we know Lebron is an AP spokesperson with his own watch, we could have a Rolex vs AP finals next year... Maybe a KD Rolex special addition with him jumping on a bandwagon |

Loved KD but, now not so much. Definitely, lost all my respect for him as a huge basketball fan. Now we all have to deal with even more bandwagoning gsw fans. Thanks KD! But nice watch :).

what's the big deal with KD wearing a Daytona? regardless of good/bad/no taste factors, he can afford to wear any watch he desires...even one of those hideous leopard Daytonas.
at $26.7 million/first year+$30 million in Nike endorsements (less income tax & agent fees), he'll still be taking home $27 million next season. only a complete fool or idiot could/would blow away that kind of money...his choice of a Rolex borders on the trivial. |

Wait you think draymond green the man who has been almost averaging triple doubles and has a proven track record of defending really well isn't a superstar in the nba today? Interesting.
Iggy isn't a superstar but, he is a great player a star indeed. Regardless, he would be a starting player on any team. |

KD is a pretty good guy. As suggested earlier YouTube his speech. Seems like a genuine good guy. I am from Seattle and they drafted him, only to let the team go to OK over some BS politics. I still followed his career.
He wants to win a title so he's going where he thinks he can. I get that some think it's weak and NBA stars of the past would not make such a move. Probably true but the NBA has changed a lot over the last 20 - 30 years. I miss the Magic and Michael days as well as the bad boys from Detroit.

Im only assuming he's going for the oppurtunity to win a title. If that's the case, more power to him. But trying to massage the number of top tier egos on that team is a job I would not want. More power to him for sporting a Daytona.

I like KD as a player for sure and he seems like a good guy. Going to a team that you were up 3-1 against and didn't finish? That does seem weak. Lebron went to Miami but it's not like he had lost to them and in Cleveland, he was the whole team.
NBA has changed with a team with five superstars? GSW doesn't have 5 superstars but I hear you. But the NBA has changed? Have you seen the rosters of the Laker/Celtics back in the day? At one point, Magic was asked why the Lakers were so successful and he said talent. I believe they had 4 No. 1 picks in the draft (not 4 first round draft picks) on one team. Both those team were stocked with future hall of famers. Besides Curry, who else on the current Warriors is a lock for Hall of Fame? |

Keep on hating...
That team is going to be sick next year..and they just added a young 20 year old Runnin' Rebel during the draft last week. I'm excited to see this team play next year.

That's a very valid point. He does talk too much. Just shut up and play. I'm a huge Peyton fan and the Spurs are a great organization.

I can see people thinking KD took the easy way out, but it's no different then Lebron's move to Miami. At the end, he wanted to a chance to get a ring, get paid, and play with friends and have fun while doing it. Is that any different then Lebron's "decision"?
Deep down I think he just wanted something different, a chance to experience a different team, different environment, and play with a team that shares the ball. The fact that he could do all this while joining a powerhouse is icing on the cake in his eyes. It's a no win situation really. If he stays and they never win, then he'll be labeled like Ewing, Barkley, Malone, etc. Leave as a FA, then you subject yourself to all the criticism and jerseys set on fire. |

Seriously, is anyone going to buy a watch because Kevin Durant is wearing one?

Will Klay Thompson be a shoe in for the Hall of Fame? I don't know. Not to say that he won't, but he still has distance himself from likes of Glen Rice or even Steph's Dad. |

Great watch choice KD no bling just pure pedigree of a watch. goodluck to him. I think the nba changed alot from the 80's & 90's but that's the evolution of the NBA, I do prefer the competitiveness back in the day.
"There's no way, with hindsight, I would've ever called up Larry, called up Magic and said, Hey, look, let's get together and play on one team." "But that's... things are different. I can't say a bad thing. It's an opportunity these kids have today. In all honesty, I was trying to beat those guys." -Michael Jordan |
