I'm not usually a fan of big watches, but that does look pretty nice on your wrist.

Size is relative not just to wrist size but to the style and purpose of the watch in question.
I think a more conservative styled gold dress watch for you in that size would indeed be too big, but that AP looks bold and aggressive as it should.

Thanks pj. The 49150 is a lovely piece. I tried to find but the blue dial is no longer easily available sadly. I probably should wait and see what the new overseas chrono looks like on the wrist later in the year. I know it's divided opinion but overall the update looks good. Plus the quick strap changing - bracelet to leather to rubber in a heartbeat. 👏🏼
