Chadridv, I have delt with Rolex many times over the years and have sent in many watches. Rolex has a policy in order to get a part you must turn in a part. In some cases they have replaced missing parts with no trade in but these are specific exceptions, Hands, dials,crowns bezels and inserts always require a trade in when the part is present on the watch.. I can't see Rolex giving you back parts after your service if they replace them with new ones, I think someone might have made a mistake when they advised you this.

I'd do it all, with either a blue or silver dial, no diamonds. I'm leaning more towards silver if it were mine.

Very nice WG DD, that blue dial looks good, would pick that one without diamonds for sure.
