Thanks good idea about the forum shops at Caesars Palace , maybe I can swing by tomorrow and take a gander .. Urgh man
On one hand , something tells me that a nice 16600 will be hard to come by more often than a nice pre loved SUBCND ..
Maybe start off with a classic and eventually get a modern maxi or just jump right into today and go 6 digit !!!

I have both - both are excellent - the 16600 feels a little more top heavy but not to a point where its a problem! The SubC with the bigger case takes a little getting use to but once you reach that point, it feels superb. Its also the only one from the current range I wear, having flipped a few others including the SDC. You really cannot go wrong with either - both extremely well designed and built, with the SubC having an edge in terms of the bracelet. Only you can really decide - good luck!

Lots of differing opinions on this...but in the end, to me anyway, it's all about the fit. You are after all, going to wear it (at least I hope so

), so that would point to the more adjustable bracelet with fewer permanent links and glide lock clasp of the subc. Good luck,

Should also add a bnib No Date is only going to run you $7500 max from an AD. IMO best bang for your buck in the lineup

Sub c (no date) for less weight and being one of the most iconic watches. You can always get the SD later except if you need to dive 1220 m today.

The 114060 weighs slightly more than the 16660, although the weight of the 114060 is probably better proportioned. I'd probably call a pre-ceramic SD more icnonic than a ceramic Sub, to be honest.

I've had a 114060 and have a 116610 and 116613lb and as far as comfortable watches they are lovely... However I have a 16600 and love it! It get far more wrist time then with of my ceramic subs and I always feel like I'm wearing a "Rolex" when I've got it on. The ceramic subs just don't have that feel(hard to explain)
Don't get me wrong the new maxi case is the perfect size for my wrist and is comfortable and ticks every box but they don't have the soul of my 16600

Just my 2 cents... And at the current exchange rate I'll owe you money lol!

Well said sir, couldn't agree more, it's hard to describe how the 5 digits feel.

I stopped by Tourneau and no luck with finding a nice SD 5 digit
I dos however re try on the ceramics ....

So my dilemma is I want a watch that will be my companion for years to come , at least until I get my toddler girls into middle school :)
Maybe then I can add another high dollar watch to the collection!
I get what you mean about the 5 digit having a soul feeling:)

Dare I say the 6 digit ceramic did feel more robust , But ..... When the lady was showing it to me she made it seem as if it was a tennis bracelet , the way it " shiny" she said
