Huge congrats Brandon! What an outstanding specimen. Avoid sticking it on the ceiling. Enjoy it in the best of health.

I like to live life on the edge!!

Have been posting pics via he website rather than my Tapatalk app. And it is not working out too well. Have to get this Tapatalk mini picture issue fixed ASAP.

So many of you know I have been looking long and hard for the right Tudor Sub. I promised myself that clean and complete was what I was holding out for. I watched (and lost several) here on TRF and on eBay just scared of my lack of "vintage" knowledge. I have always bought new and nothing else.
I wandered into a very reputable and well known estate buyer and jeweler in the little town where I live. They had a 2 year old (complete) 114060 ND sub for just over $6000. And then I spot over in the corner what appears to be a very clean 79090 Tudor Sub. After asking to see it I noticed on the tag it said "B&P" and the price was close to reasonable.

I inquired as to its origin and was informed that it was part of an estate that they bought recently and that they had found the watch like this and done nothing to it other than make sure it kept good time and photograph for eBay.

We played the game and settled on a number I could live with. So it is now in my safe.

So here it is. A B419 serial (1992) Tudor sub that they described as "unworn". Don't know that I would go that far but I don't see any scratches or swirlies. But the chamfers on the lugs are great from what I can see.

Welcome to any feedback as I have a one year warranty and the ability to return if need be.

Thanks for looking and enjoy. Sorry if the pics are small or low res. I need to look into my Tapatalk app apparently.

Thank you. There are (what appear to be) some really nice examples out there in the $3.5 to $4k range, but it was so hard to pull the trigger on a watch that was so far away that I could not physically see it.
