Poll: Should I wait for the New Tudor Black Bay?

I personally would choose an in house movement over some symbols on the watch. But that is me.

Like mentioned before, the new movement is several steps above an ETA movement which results not on only in the certificate but also in some superior design decisions.

Sure, it has not the track record of an ETA, but in reality this movement should be in the league just short of a Rolex movement.

Agree. Have the BBR and added the BB Black a couple of weeks ago. They both seem to be as accurate as my 16613, 16803 and my SD4K. They wear well on my 7 3/4" wrist. Actually, they have been getting more wrist time than any of my Rolex. I wouldn't have a problem with the in house movement, however, not a fan of the rivet bracelet and I much prefer the rose dial. There's nothing wrong with the ETA version. It seems to keep excellent time. Personally, I would still hold-out for the in-house movement. I had one of Tudor's manufacturer movements in my North Flag, and it was exceptional. I appreciated the silicon balance spring, which is less sensitive to magnetism. I also like the instantaneous date change and the 70hr power reserve. Lots of watches can give you an ETA 2824 that is well-regulated. However, only Tudor can provide access to their manufacturer movements. I can't really think of any manufacturer movement that provides the same specifications for less, and that value is one of the things I admire about Tudor.

I've decided to wait a while before I make a decision. I may even decide to save for another Rolex... However, the BBB is undoubtedly a beautiful piece that I would like to end up with eventually!
