You can sell it at Ebay as the super rare Stevie Wonder model where you can feel the time.

Sorry I hope you get it fixed ASAP.

Wow I've never heard of this. I'd be raising hell until this got fixed. It's not like this is a run of the mill watch. At the price you paid, you absolutely should be the owner of a perfect watch from the AD.

Just goes to show......Rolex isn't some magical infallible brand some people think it is. I'm glad the AD is making things right for you OP, buy a lottery ticket while you're at it IMO.

OP said he bought this Z serial used. I would check the warranty card cuz something doesn't feel right. Over polished lugs and a displaced bezel points to tampering.

Missed that. Definitely sounds like shady service job in between. Be interested to see how this pans out.

Agree. I thought the lugs looked off myself, but hard to tell as I currently don't own a daytona to compare.

Can't really comment on this, too many unknowns however I have a JLC master compressor that was purchased new from AD(about3yrs old)and was really cold outside and 20 min after being inside I noticed my crystal had popped off. I guess weird things happen

I would question the authenticity of this watch. The way the bezel and crystal are fitted to the the case of the watch they just don't fall off. Now I can say I have seen a bezel on a SS/18kt sub get knocked off when the owner hit the edge of the bezel by accident in a hard downward motion just right and it popped upward and off the case. But the crystal remained due to the way they are attached to the lip of the case.

DO you see all the proper hallmarks in respective locations? I hope this isn't SS masked as a PM.

Did you get it here on TRF or AD?

could you take a few pics of the underside of the bezel and of various angles of the watch

No, look at post #6 in this thread. Definitely a WG case, the SS case is different near the pushers.

Yes, it was a WG Daytona. I contacted the seller and he said he would readily send me another one. However, I said I didnt want any daytona anymore. I chose this one, arrived yesterday!

I cannot believe what must have gone thru your head when that happened. I would have immediately kicked the dog, cried, run around the house screaming and then just plain sulked for the rest of my life!

Good to see you are a little more adult than me by taking pix and sharing on here
