Buying Sub - Keep/Sell BB?

Hey guys,

I currently own a Tudor Black Bay blue on bracelet that I purchased new last year, and I am looking to purchase a SubC Date soon.

Wanted to get your opinions on this dilemma:

1. These would be similar watches - can they coexist in a collection? Would I even wear the Black Bay anymore? Part of me is leaning towards selling the BB and starting fresh with the Sub. Owning more than 2-3 watches isn't important to me.

2. On the other hand, I've also heard to never sell a watch. I'm guessing resale puts me around $2200 max. That money would certainly be nice to put toward the new purchase, but isn't absolutely necessary. So, it's take a 35% loss or fork over an extra $2k.

3. This is probably something only I can answer, right?

Thanks guys. Pic for fun.
