I don't see it happening in the US barring a major decline in the value of the USD relative to CHF.

If you search you can track down a LNIB black dial around 15k now. That's not obscene if you were planning on 12400 + tax.

I think it has a ways to go and we will see this linear decline until they are selling NIB for ~14-15k 12-18 months from now.

One data point: I spoke to a guy at Tourneau in Midtown. He said they expect to get in 10 this year and they have 500 people on the list. :)

I did try on a 116520 while I was there (it was in fact why I went) and I've decided to buy a pre-owned one of those. Not theirs though (2005 Daytona for $13000? I think not).

Good choice. When the ceramic come back down to earth or if I get lucky I'll pick it up but I'm in no rush. My 116520 is a keeper.
