Colleague selling 116710 GMTII-C

Hi all, my colleague is selling his 116710 full set (8 out of 10 due to scratches on bracelet and clasp) purchased in 2013. He said he would sell it for $5,800. I am not currently in the market for another Rolex although this timepiece is sharp. Is this too good of a deal to pass on?? Could I always flip it for approximately the same value? Thank you for all your input.
