Do you think I should...
Hi guys, I was wondering if I should make this addition to my collection, basically between what I have and what I will have gotten by June my collection will look like this:
AP ceramic diver PP 5712 PP 5167R PP 5711 And a made to order watch from an independent in WG, that one should make a serious incoming, even if I already paid 70% upfront for the order I won't say what it is, but it's going to be the pinnacle of my collection. So basically 5 watches, have other lower end watches but let's not count them in. I won't have a single watch which costs less than 20K, which means that I won't take any to go to the beach or for a swim, I know the diver can swim but having had the case crack once I would be afraid to have it happen again, so I am considering a Daytona C, probably white dial, it makes me think a little of the Paul Newman one. Also my 5 watch collection is very well thought, and watches I really love and which will do great in a rotation, I have thought about it for a very long time, and have bothered you enough with many threads about these watches that I am getting, which has helped me to really choose the ones I wanted and that will at 99% be keepers for me. Do you think that I will probably not wear it enough with the ones I have and will flip it? I went through the buying and selling phase and would prefer not going through that again, even if I don't loose money, no need to fuel the addiction... Sorry to make such a huge thread about basically "should I get a Daytona or not?" but I like things to be clear. And if it was possible I would like the thread not to be moved in the Rolex section, it's more about the watches I have and am getting than the Daytona, plus the Rolex posters don't really know me whereas many of you guys here do... Anyways thanks in advance for your thoughts and ideas about this. |
