New Arrival
Good afternoon Gents,
Fed Ex dropped this off a couple of hours ago. Another great transaction with DavidSW. Always a pleasure doing business with him. Really debated on this last purchase. I was after a dress watch and a four digit Daytona as my next two watches. I miss having YG in my collection. I tried on a few dress watches over the last few months and nothing really sang to me. Most felt and looked too small on the wrist and the dress watches I really like are too expensive price wise for a watch I will only wear a few times a year. So moved off the dress watch. Also the four digit Daytona has priced itself out of my comfort zone. So that moved me to a newer TT Daytona. A combination of enough dress for me, a touch of gold, the "right" size, but still sporty. The next part of the debate was over whether to go for the five or six digit version. I really liked the solid TT bracelet abd upgraded clasp of the six digit, but also love the charm of the Zenith five digit...basically decided that I would grab whatever nice example showed up first from a seller I like. In the end David had a very nice example of a U serial 16523. In all my years of collecting, this is only my second Daytona. I think it will serve my current needs perfectly. Thanks again David Couple quick phone pics:
