First purchase!

Just bought my first Rolex, have been planning since May.

The first was always going to be the no date sub, was amazed to see one on display in the first shop I tried. Apparently it arrived in store yesterday and although there was a waiting list nobody on it was quite ready, so it went on general sale.

Fully enjoyed the experience, coffee as soon as I walked in and champagne when we sealed the deal.

I was expecting some buyers remorse (the most I've ever spent on one item), but it hasn't turned up, just extremely happy with the purchase.

Also, the price was £5000 so no UK price increase this morning as had been rumoured.

Hulk is next on the list - probably 12 months away from that though.
