If you consider selling, then they aren't "keepers"

I can say with certainty that ALL but two will eventually be sold. The two I'm keeping will be chosen by my kids to be inherited by them. The rest will be enjoyed while I can until they get sold.

Absolutely not! The term 'keeper' negates 'for sale/trade'. I understand that current feelings about a piece are subject to change but at the point where sale is considered said piece is no longer a 'keeper'.

there have been a couple of 'bubble' posts recently and I'm guessing that some of these so-called keepers are starting to look very valuable. There gets a point where selling becomes very attractive and tax free! I've seen the value of both my 1665 and Big Block rise.

We get bored of our own watch collection at times. There is a 50-50 chance you might regret selling your 2 watches. I think 3 watches is a good collection. As a WIS I think you need at least 3 collection. Let the skydweller be your holy grail and save up for it.

Well, Change #1: I'm selling my Hulk. I don't need the money, but it has just been sitting there for a year gathering dust. (I have a buyer so I'm not soliciting). I will be down to one watch, the Platona, which I wear everywhere all the time.

At my age (soon to be 67) and precarious health I am slimming down all my possessions to only things I use regularly. Got rid of a lot of clothes and stuff.

I don't flip any of my watches. Never have and probably never will. I have SS, PM, TT, etc., and would not get rid of any of them. They all have some kind of sentimental value for me. I only buy what I like and would want to wear. I wear most of my watches in a more or less daily rotation. The rest of the time they spend on winders because I hate having to reset a watch when I want to strap it on.

I wouldn't sell a keeper, as has been said then it isn't a keeper. Now I might change what's a keeper now and then... but that's not the same thing.

I like that.

These are just material things. They can be easily replaced.

Sorry to hear of the precarious health. I too recently sold my Hulk, and I don't miss it a bit. I loved it when I bought it, but that too faded.
