After many months due to C19, Rolex shutting down because of it, and the general stopping of just about everything in the UK I have finally got my GMTMaster 1 back and my, does'nt it look smart.

Robert Reeve undertook the not un-daunting task of not only giving this vintage 1968 watch a thorough service, but in the process had to almost rebuild it from the ground up.

To say that I am pleased is an understatement.

I've seen various lists that show different date ranges. If the one I used do date my GMT was correct (which put it at 1986 - it was purchased in 1986) then his dates at 1960. I suppose that list could be incorrect for that range though.

(One list I have puts it at 1960 - Another at 1966/67)
