What do you need an Android phone to do with your Mac etc? I have an Android phone but two Mac Book Pros, iPods, iPads etc etc and have no problem setting them up for mail, calendar etc.

Already sold it.

This is an alternative I'm giving serious thought Google Pixel (isn't bloated with apps like Samsung):

iMessages, iPhotos, all of my iTunes songs (transfer automatically from phone to Apple Photos)...but sounds like that may not be an issue with Android. Hmmmm?

I am certainly looking at the Pixel, I have been waiting for the announcement for some while, I have a Nexus 6 running the latest Android OS, it seems very good, I will get a lot more facilities when I get the Pixel.

No problems with iPhone or iPads here in France.

Think I'm going to pre-order one and switch.

https://madeby.google.com/phone/

Oct 20th shipping.

It can't be worse than this iPhone 7.

Everyone says they have issues hearing static when I'm talking with them, camera is a joke, speaker phone is deplorable, camera freezes, can't get Verizon or Apple to fix, so screw them

I have run iOS 10 for 2 months without problems so I still guess all the time at the datings sites will drain both your brain and you battery.

Yup. Battery life is atrocious. Haven't seen a decline in wifi or BT though.

You'd think I would have learned my lesson by now on these "updates" and yet every year I, like an Alzheimer's patient, see the button that says UPDATE and think "Ooh, this should be good!" and click it.

The swiping thing will make more sense once you get a 7.

The email thread is in settings. You can change it

I just hate that they changed the email arrows to left and right vs. up and down.

My phone froze during the booting up process so I was forced so update my phone off iTunes to unfreeze it, if it wasn't for that though I wouldn't never upgraded to IOS 10

Only issue i have is recieving messages. I cant seem to fix my issue. When recieving text messages in the text interface example peoples names. When someone sends me a text it shows i have a new message but only shows what i sent to them. I have to physically open the message to see what they said .Anyone have any ideas?

For all you having issues ( NOT including those with Verizon connectivity issues). Have you tried to reset the phone and do a fresh restore?

It's painless to do and if you start before you go to bed, it will be done when you wake up.

Do you mean it's not showing on the notification bubble or when you click into the text message screen where all the messages are stored?

If it's notification bubble you can adjust that

Settings - Notifications - Messages - Show Previews.

Other than that usually a reset factory default wipe like mentioned above will fix it.

I did the update and besides hating the slow reaction of the double click home to open (swipe was faster when it actually sensed my swipe), I have no major interest ashes to report. Battery is about the same. I burn more talking but don't talk on it much.

I also do not use socialist media, and with its ever increasing reach into our lives perhaps that causes issues with the new OS?

It's a 6 (not sure if it's 6S but maybe).

PS I have verizon as my provider.
