Thanks Matt! I was really happy that for the first time my wife agreed that I purchase this one. I took the whole family to the store.

Well Hamilton, sometimes when you involve the entire family, it makes it an easy transition. And sometimes it muddies the water too! But in your case it was best and that’s all that matters!

Awesome purchase!

You don't need to give apologies for the plastic on the watch. I know that new feeling and leaving the plastic on for a little while (or a long while ) to extend that feeling is perfectly understandable

You're right about that Steve. Its a simple way to keep feeding the feeling.

I too wear my watch on the right wrist and am right handed. It's the only way :)

Congrats Hamilton......I have been following your pursuit of this watch for awhile now.
Your excitement about the Daytona is infectious. Only within the confines of the TRF can you share that feeling and know that it is genuinely regarded.
Enjoy your new Rolex; I am sure you earned it.
P.S. There were times when I picked up a Rolex with my oldest son, allowing him to see his Dad's joy at the moment.
He is now a 25 year old lawyer with his own mini-collection of Rolexes (a 3rd generation Rolex owner).
