I know what you are saying with the blue dial in this picture. However look at the case. It is symmetrical, steel daytona cases are asymmetrical, thinner on the crown/pusher side.

It's either a fake or aftermarket parts on a SS Daytona

Bezel engraving wrong
Dial looks off
Platinum Daytona has the slightly beefier case and this is usually obvious around the pushers with a slight case overhand of the bezel and on this watch it's not present.

So much China parts , not sure which part is made by Rolex. Lol
Those eBay ceramic bezel shouldn't cost that much to replace.

The bezel is definitely not original. Just check the position of the "P" in PER compared to the "R" in HOUR, compared to a genuine one...In the genuine one the P is between the U and the R, in this one its at the mid point of the R.

Looks like to also spun the bezel a quarter turn as well. Painful I'm sure! Keep us posted on your repair please.

I reckon will be more like $10.

The thin crown guards are clearly of the SS model, which the OP does have. Tellingly he also never said this was a Platona.

I'm so confused.

At first I felt sympathy and pain for OP now i'm starting to feel less so.

Fake? - OP what's the story?

Must admit - the blue doesn't look right although that could just be the lighting?

OP has posted numerous threads with questions, and positive comments about "aftermarket" dials, and "aftermarket" ceramic bezels to make a fake Platona, or as the OP states, "To spice up a 116520". Those previous threads FYI have been LOCKED!

I have yet to see a 100% genuine example of a ceramic Daytona bezel breaking.

I really don't understand this selective reading!

The parts are aftermarket so any reference to cost/longevity of genuine Rolex parts is pointless

I got the same kit at Canal Street in NYC.

Good to know how they should look.
