The dial looks big in relation to your wrist, especially in the second picture.

Totally fine! Not even close to being too big. Go for it.

Exactly. That's the perplexing part... Sometimes it seems to look OK, other times it seems oversized for my wrist. Hence my conundrum.

Looks absolutely fine to me. I have the same watch and similar sized wrists. Lovely watch. Wear it and be happy.

I've got smaller wrist and exp 2 fits fine. The key thing is if you wear this with formal wear like shirt / tie it will appear too big and get in the way of your sleeve...etc

Absolutely no problem if you dress casually !

I think it fits. Ask the AD to size the watch for you as you would wear it. Then you will see. On the DSSD and the Explorer II and any of the larger mm watches you can not get a true feel for the size if the watch is not properly adjusted. Once sized you will see that it works. I own the Polar Explorer II and think that it is a great watch. I will say that the Sub, Daytona and many more of the watches could use the 42 mm platform and be very successful. Short of all of the complaining on TRF. Go for it.

We men are always obsessed with size

Looks great IMO. Rolex wears smaller than most other brands.

As has been stated, its ok if the watch covers most of your wrist as long as the lugs don't overhang.

I think it looks fine, especially in the black. To me it wears smaller than the Sub and GMT with the better lug taper to the bracelet. Also, it is proportioned very well.

When in doubt, use the mirror test. Photos tend to make the watch appear bigger and holding it near your face dies the same thing. Stand a few feet from a mirror and see how the watch appears to others. I think you'll find it looks just fine!

EXP II 42mm - Too Big On My Wrist?

I had same dilemma. I have 6.75 wrist too. The size gave me pause. I think it fits but then.....not sure
However looking at the picture below it seems perfect!!!

Does it look good, yes. Although a slightly smaller watch would look even better. So I say yes the watch is a little too big. As you are aware cause you are asking.

I typically think yes. Too big. If someone is askin, usually there is a reason.

In this case, nope. I think it looks great.

I've got a similar sized wrist. Tried the 42 mm exp 2 and it was totally fine. To the point that it's on my list.

Looks great on you. But it's what you feel that matters
