You can't lose. Either are perfect one and only Rolex pieces and representative of the brand.

I'm a Daytona guy and not the BLNR fan so the choice is super easy

BLNR for me because of the more useful complication for my travel activities and I satisfy any chronograph needs with something out of my Speedy collection. In fact, you can have the BLNR and a classic, iconic Speedmaster with plenty of travel money left over for the same $$ as the Daytona. I know that really wasn't a proper answer to the OP's question but really, you can have a BLNR + a Sea Dweller for the same cost as a SS Daytona. No contest unless nothing but a Daytona will satisfy and I know that that is usually the final equation for watch additions. Have fun 'cause they are both beautiful watches.

If I had to choose I'd vote Daytona

I'd get the Daytona if it is at MSRP. Wear it and if you don't like it sell it later and get the BLRN. I have both and you can't go wrong with either.

If both isn't possible than the 500c as it is less common. I have wigits on my phone for other time zones and such.

BLNR.
Had mine for a happy year now. LOVE the GMT and date and blue bits. Maxi dial legibility is killer also. So is the lume. |

I would go BLNR over the white dial and black dial over the BLNR.

Wow its great to see so much love for the GMT BLNR, when I saw title I thought the Daytona would kill it but seems the GMT is the winner here?? :-)))

Daytona only because it's the hardest watch to get right now at retail. If you don't like it, you'll have no trouble selling it. Might even make a few bucks.

GMT, as I prefer GMTs to chronos.

I owned BLNR too, however Daytona Cerachrom is a watch that I would never consider of flipping for

I like both pretty equally but if only one it's probably the BLNR for the more useful functionality and wearing slightly larger.
Great pair to own if that's a possibility down the road. |

Lol... so true
I've never tried any SS Daytona on my wrist only PM... Except the Platona... never seen one in the flesh. that being said, it wore small wasn't really blown away ... not that I don't like it I just didn't like the way it looked on my wrist at that time ... I really want to like the Daytona but thus far no dice... |

I have the BLNR and while I do love it - if someone said straight swap for a Ceramic Daytona, I wouldn't be able to say no.

I'm a GMT kind of guy, however the ceramic bezel really makes the Daytona "pop" in my mind. I would choose the Daytona.
