I have both for my 16750, as well as both Pepsi and Black bezel inserts. For me, the ability to swap out different combinations makes these GMTs a unique reference and has significantly increased the value of this watch for me. I admit that I wear mine more on Oyster, but it is a lot of fun to swap it out. Make sure that the watch is truly a keeper in your collection (for me it would be the last Rolex that I would part with), and if it is, then getting the extra bracelet, etc is definitely worth doing.

And they look pretty killer on straps as well. Especially if you source a set of custom end links to finish the look.

Jubilee. And for me, the GMT Master I & II is the only 40MM Rolex sports models it looks 100% correct on. I look at it like this; the GMT is a pilot’s watch and therefore not subjected to harsh working environments like a Submariner. It’s more of a white collar job tool watch. The oyster feels more rugged so it’s perfectly at home in working environments such as diving or spelunking (LOL!) or sailing. Just as a jubilee is perfectly matched for the GMT, Datejust and President, the oyster with a diver’s extension is the exact right band for the Submariner 100% of the time. Just my opinion however I also think this was Rolex’s view through the 90’s.

The original Oyster bracelet is the most comfortable metal bracelet I've ever worn. I've never been a huge fan of the Jubilee. It just looks a little delicate to me, but then I'm such a stodgy old traditionalist. :)

I have the Jubilee on mine and I prefer the look. It's just different for a sports Rolex and looks elegant.

i'm getting push back from all Rolex retailers when I inquire about the jubilee band for my BLNR. Some say we can't sell you a band that isn't intended for that watch "Rolex policy". Others say it just won't fit. Any suggestions?

^This thread is about the 16710, for which the Jubilee (62510H) was offered as an OEM option. Rolex RSCs/ADs won't sell a bracelet for a reference for which it wasn't original equipment. And any bracelet they sell is on an exchange-only basis, anyway.

Beautiful GMT dynamic duo . I also just added a early 90's polar (I'm in a vintage tritium dial and case holes collecting phase) 16570 to my collection late last year and for the life of me can't figure out why I waited so long. I think I listened to long to many erroneously bashing the Explorer II. I ended up liking it equally as much as my 1675 and 16700. Ironically it has the 93150 Submariner oyster w\divers extension which was listed as a option on the mid 90's AD dealer card I have.

Even though Rolex doesn't offer it, I've seen a pic of a new 116710BLNR fitted with a supper jubilee and thought it looked stunningly at home. Rolex should offer it as a option with the correct curved endlinks.

Awsome GMT jubilee eye candy! I tend to be more vintage in my collecting but that 116710BLNR with the super jubilee just looks simply stuning.
