Padi Divemaster B.S.A.C instructor now retired owing to bad health. And I would doubt if 80% of all dive watches bought ever see any water other than a shower, or dip in the pool or splash in the sea .

Great thread.......
I have heard from a reliable source that Joe (Bubba) is a Certified Diver of sorts............. He is usually after that hard to find sea urchin called the 'Muff'............apparently the Queen can be identified by the prominent looking 'Toe'.................. |

I have been Diving ...
I have been Diving a little bit since 1970 or so.
Here is real Man's diving, me circa 1977. This sucks it's about 33 degrees F, and F does not only stand for Fahrenheit. This is pretty fun. But this is how I like to dive now. |

Just hit Catalina two weeks ago visibility was over 70ft, except when I kick up sediment like in the bottom picture. Good times

Logged over 15,000 hours plus since 68, most in fresh water about 20% in salt. Sp[ent a couple of years roaming the caribean playing pirate . Looking for treasure and getting the pleasure. Sea dweller with me all the time, my constant companion, my best friend. even the cudas seem to like the Sea Dweller. I was always afraid they might like the arm it was attached to as well.
Ther i was in 6-0 ft of water.. just me, my shark knife and a ten foot tiger shark...... just to make it fair I tied one hand behind my back Nothing screams out diver more than a Submariner or Sea Dweller. While other watches have failed me whilst diving, my Rolex has always brought me home safe, cant ask for more than that except for a 18kt sub with date and the saphire index |

Quite happy to have worn mine in Sharm El Shiekh, and surfing in Tenerife.
If I can it can.

Yeah Ive done it a couple of times..
Once I was free diving all the way down to3900m .. called Rolex afterwards and complained about that my Seadweller exploded during my journey. Appearently the head of development put tons of engineers to get busy!! |
