The BLNR is an awesome watch but if a ceramic coke was released in 2017 how long until it would be available without the customary mark up from MSRP?

While i will want an SS Ceramic Coke, I will keep my BLNR. I love the BLNR and think it is the best looking stainless model by a mile the last few years.

BLNR is a modern classic, not a fad.

I would prefer blue rather than red anyway.

They'll always be difference preferences whichever model we discuss.

There is no way to know because the blnr has never done battle with the coke or pepsi. I personally prefer the black/blue over all of the above.

Personally I wouldn't buy a Coke GMT over a BLNR, but that's just personal preference having never liked the Black/Red bezel.

However, I do believe that a SS Coke would impact BLNR sales somewhat. I don't think that a PM Coke would impact BLRO sales much however as I'm sure BLRO sales are pretty small anyway.

Why would Rolex commit commercial suicide by releasing either of those 2 watches?

Makes no sense...

Any way they need to work on the red on the Ceramic bezel...it looks quite pink against the blue on the BLRO, putting it against black to make a coke will only exaggerate the 'pinkness'... it needs to be a deeper shade of red. my
Any fall in BLNR revenue would be more than compensated for by the rev from RONR sales so Rolex will come out far ahead, don't worry about them.

As for the ceramic red, I'm pretty sure they have the colour they want now and I'm certain it will be as pure a red as the blue is on the BLNR. The BLRO is a different technique altogether and has no bearing on these two half-black models.

I think the BLNR is close to being just a normal cool rolex. It's easily available at this point in both new & used at normal prices. Still brings a slight premium over all black.

They'll probably sell the well for 20 more years, but it won't be any more special than the all black version (also very cool and one of my favorites).

Highly doubt it and not sure how it is a fad. It is a great watch and has had a strong following since day one. It's still an allocation watch for AD's and has strong resale like most watches that are allocation pieces.

I can't stop smiling at all the comments about BLNR value and popularity will go down with Coke C being released (IF).

You know BLNR is best modern SS watch right?

I have never liked the BLNR....personally I hate the blue GMT hand and the blue on the bezel just doesn't work.
I know I'm not alone so if they do bring out the Coke it will be a massive hit and will be goodbye to the BLNR.
Even my dealer finds it hard to shift the BLNR so doesn't request any unless they have an order for one.

There's so much strange "facts" in this post that I honestly call it BS.

Last year the Daytona-C was announced in March and the first ones started appearing on TRF (I think around) May/June by TRF members which were purchased from ADs (does not take into account Daytona-C owners that are not members of TRF or Celebrities that got first dibs)

So assuming the same applies, ADs might start receiving their allotment (meaning one or two - if announced) May/June - with huge waiting lists in tow.

I agree, Steve and Neil, and would add...you can bet Rolex has very carefully calculated that whatever is introduced at Basel will NOT hurt their BLNR sales or demand. Just my take.

Exactly; it's your opinion - and just that.

I respect you opinion - and it's just that - as the majority of us disagree.

If they produce a ss coke and stopped the BLNR, I would be happy. It would make current BLNR owners more exclusive.
