When I bought some Prada cologne I got a free Prada toiletries bag. I've used it for 2 years and it works great

My wife is a LV person and we have almost cornered the market on items. We do not own either option #1 or #2 as for the money I do not believe them to be worth it based on usage and purpose. So many other good options for significantly less. I am using a Bosca bag now for travel and I believe I got it on sale for $99. All leather, brass zipper, it appears to be indestructible. If it is a style thing or a true want, go for it. If not, save the money and go look in any decent mid to high end retailer of men's goods and see what they have.

This is a question of utmost importance and I'm glad you're not making any hasty decisions you might regret later.

Take your time and do some serious research before you invest.

I assume you've joined the toiletry forum as there are numerous knowledgeable members there who can guide you on to the right track.

I am glad personal hygiene is a priority for travelers. I use a cheap nylon travel kit that holds most of my medications and toothpaste, etc. TSA has never messed with my meds. Yet.

I've had a LV toiletry travel bag once but the inner lining has gotten damaged by some Edt, which was spilled.
LV refused to repair it under warranty, so it costed me $$.
Sold the bag then and will never buy an expensive one again for that purpose.

Same here. I got some designer free bag with a purchase. It's lasted years.
One thing I like about it is that it has 2 small zipper pockets on the sides which aid in organization. And of course I have the fancy zip lock freezer bag for my liquids.

PS Mon, hilarious as always!

I think that's to be expected. When my freebie goes down for the count, I bet I can find some nylon one for $20 in a department store. Or amazon.

I think most posts have missed the original question. OP isn't asking how tacky your individual choice in toiletry bag is (whether it be turkey oven bags / your bin liner or a freebie you received with your last purchase from old spice!) he wasnt even asking what you use but which would we choose. So guess the answer is an a or b! If you read it. it's not to be used as a toiletry bag but a type of daily carrier for various items to be used on the move...

The clue is "which one have you chosen and why?"! cheers

Whatever floats your boat.
There is something corny about men having LV canvas monogramed accessories. LV monogrammed canvas is junk. Yes junk. Printed checkerboard canvas is cheap plastic PVC crap.

They sucker people with champagne dreams, and give them malt liquor.

Now LV products made of Epi, Taiga, and Calf leather are acceptable from LV. Yes it's 4x more, but so is an S Class compared to a C class.

So is that (a) or (b)?

You've been on the forum a while Karl. You know we are not capable of being constrained by the original question.

The answer is (d) none of the above.

Louis Vuitton toiletry bags

I would also look at Filson. Have one I used forever and it still gets grabbed when we vacation and the kids need a bag. May be money better spent.

I understand OP asked "A or B" -- but if he is going to use it as a daily carrier, then I think a compact messenger bag or briefcase is more useful. Leaves his hands free and could also carry iPad or travel/work documents if need be.

Yes and recently I even misposted in a thread in the wrong forum. Despite misunderstanding a subtle hint from Paul I think it was my second derogatory opinion that had members suitably chiding me and I scuttled off never to be seen again!

You can probably pick one up for less than the $20 Walmart toiletry bag you currently use.

Channel, Giorgio Nomani, Prado, Bolo, Cuggi are all sold at the typical street vendor throughout the Middle East and Asia

I should have added a chuckle. I was being facetious in response to Chad's reference to an infamous thread that you may remember.

I'm sure you don't find the humor in it since you were one of the parties involved, but think about it from the spectator side. Two grown men were arguing over purses. That's funny.
