Congrats and great story. I went through the same process, went through a gray market dealer and was nervous as hell but it all worked out perfectly. I too had to add the 1.5 link but I don't notice the oddness of it. It's such a beautiful watch
Enjoy!!

Thanks guys! Still can't believe it

Chute, thanks for your input. I'm used to the link now, I don't look at the underside too much so I can live with it now I'm all about going through trusted sellers now!

Same thing for me, I acquired my first AP, an RG44, from Adnan (addy616) on his recent trip to the UK. Really nice chap to deal with and recommended.

If all goes well I may be in line to buy one of the new 44 Ti watches next when they come out.

Anytime my friend - the important thing is that you've got an AP on your wrist!

Just thinking aloud and happy for anyone to put me straight but if these goods originate abroad (especially USA) shouldn't import duty be paid?

My apologies for the delay to answer your question.
I use the IMGUR app on my IPHONE, works easy peasy and I hate using modern tech.
I had to ditch photobucket but I wanted to post pics of my watches and was advised on another forum that this was a good route, it has worked well for me.

Better late than never lol. But thanks for the advise, I'll give it a go and see if it works for me on Android.

And thanks to everyone for the kind words

Fantastic piece. A modern classic sure to stand the test of time, and it will serve you well. Mine in white says hello.
