1: 4 so far (2 flipped)

2: maybe 6 to 8 including the 2 I've already flipped

3: Either a red/black 16710 GMT, or a red/black Cerachrom GMT if and when it's released

1. 2 - DJ2 and 116610LV
2. 2 - don't plan on letting go of either one
3. 116655 - the Rosegold yacht master on oysterflex rubber. That is my Rolex unicorn! The 25k price tag is pretty tough to swallow at this stage of my life though.

20. I had to go back and count.

I still own 4.

I'm a bit of a flipper (no, I am a huge flipper) and have owned Air Kings ( 2 ), Explorer II ( 2 ) , GMT IIC ( 2 ), RG Day Date, Bluesy ( older and ceramic ), Yachtmaster , Kermits ( 3 ) , SS Daytona ( both white and a black Zenith), Date, Turnograph, WG Daytona, OP 39 and a Datejust.

There is no "last one."

Only a most recent one..

Wow! Of all those great watches, I'm curious to know which are the 4 that stayed!

Thank you for asking.

The Date. It was a gift from me to my Dad. Inscribed on the back. Passed on back to me.

Two LVs. One I wear often and the other NOS.

The Red Grape 39 OP. Love this watch. Might have finally found a keeper.

1. Twenty-three, enjoying eight currently and have acquired and let go:
(2)SDs, (2)Subs, (2)Yachtmaster, (1)Daytona, (2)Datejust, (1)ExpII and (5)GMT's. I have an affection for the GMT functioning watches as I have and have owned many different 4, 5 and 6 digit references over the years.
2. Who knows, time will tell.
3. I don't think I would ever give up my 16710 or 16610LV. The versatile bezel inserts and classic case design of these tool watches really do it for me.

1: 25+ much flipping over 30 years.
2: a few more but want to keep the total collection 3-5. So some may come and go.
3: no end game. Every time I think there is a one last one...my tastes change. For the first time in a long time nothing is really pulling me right now. Maybe Basel will change that.

[QUOTE=tuantuanbo;7382853]After spending about 1 month on the forum, I realized many people have a collection (more than 1) of Rolex. I just think it might be interesting to see:

1. how many Rolex watches you have had (including flipped ones)?
2. how many Rolex watches you think you might own in your life?
3. Which Rolex will you be happy to take as last one and complete your collection?

[/QUOTE
1. 7
2. 3 (There are other brands to be considered in the collection)
3. Platona. (Unless there is a new release at the upcoming Basel that could supplant the Plat)

I know most people would answer question 2 as "unlimited", but please at least give an answer on question 1 and 3...

My answer is
1. 1
2. 1-2
3. Maybe current Explorer I or a SS version of GMT.

Thanks!
Interesting post. My answers are as follows:

1. 13
2. Not sure of the question. If this means including the ones that have come and gone, then I think it will be either 14 or 15.
3. Datejust 116238 with a black roman jubilee dial.

1. I currently have Six.
2. See #3.
3. Every time I buy another one, it completes my collection. Nothing else on my radar at this time.

3. SS Sky Master

If including Tudors in the mix then increment 1. and 2. by three. Endpoint remains the same.
