Mine is aligned, but I never cared whether it was or not. And I'm excessively pedantic. Who is going to look at your watch from that angle including yourself?

Mine is basically identical to the OP's crown.

Guys just send a personal email to the Rolex CEO the emblem will be removed from the winding crown. Then every-bodies winding crown will line up somewhere, whether upright, downside up, or anything in-between.

Chaps

I really do think some of you need a long stress free holiday.

There is worrying, there is OCD and then there is plain lunacy worrying about if a crown lines up.

Time to get a life.

I own six Rolex and none of them line up and who cares, I certainly don't.

Regards

Mick

It can be bothersome at times and in all the Rolex ads they show the crown in the upright position and you would think they should have them the same across each model especially for the price of the watch.
All of my watches are almost upright but not like they are shown in the ads - YouTube the official Rolex site and each watch has a short clip in each clip the crown is perfectly centered and upright

Mines about 10 o'clock but I remember when researching my purchase, I watched one of the zillion real versus fake videos on YouTube and the guy said if the crown doesn't line up its a fake lol.

That would be one way to correct crown alignment

Mine points to about 11 o'clock. I feel like it was closer to 10 o'clock when I got it and each time i wind it seems to be a little more towards 12. Bothered me a little at first when I assumed they were meant to be straight up and down, but now i don't really notice.

Mine doesn't face straight up which kills me a little bit inside. I'm a little OCD about stuff like that but I just try not to think about it
