My new INVISIBLE & TRANSPARENT Rolex!!!

Hi guys

I picked up my new GMTIc last Friday.

Like most of you, I bought it for a number of reasons, some of which are...
a. the pleasure it would give me
b. as a reward to myself
c. I have always wanted a Rolex
d. admiration of the quality and skill in manufacture
e. iconic design
f. something of quality that can be passed on to my kids
etc etc

but I did NOT buy it to make a "statement" about any perceived wealth or to show off or some such.

When I turned up for work on Monday with my new Rolex I was a little self-concious (summer here, so T-shirts only!). I own my own business, so I try to be discreet about my little "indulgences" in front of employees and clients...

Anyway, it's now 3 days later, and no-one has noticed!!! I needn't have worried, I just go about my business, I don't have to try and cross my arms and hide it under my forearm when speaking to someone. Funny thing is, the girls even "ribbed" me about getting a new Rolex recently... just goes to show the SS models really are stealth.

The best part is the ONLY person who has noticed and said anything is my 3½ year old daughter!!! As soon as I came home with it, she looked directly at my wrist and said "nice watch" . Laughed so hard I nearly shat. I have a 3½ year old WIS!!! I asked her why she liked it, and she said she likes the numbers (pointing to the bezel), they're BIG!

Anyway, posts are nothing without the obligatory pics, so here is my new "stealth" GMTIIc
