Maybe once every couple of months when I need to make sure it looks it's very best.
Otherwise I might give it a bath once a month with some dish washing liquid and a little scrub with a soft toothbrush.

I'm a little OCD when it comes to keeping my Rolex pristine. I bought an ultra fine toothbrush (baby's first toothbrush !) and usually use a dab of soap and warm running water to clean the watch and have it sparkly clean usually on weekends or whenever I switch between watches during the week.

Once in the morning when I put it on along with other accessories. I have a ton of Costco Leyland micro fibre yellow cloths around so one of them with the long fibre side has the watch gleaming in 5 seconds.

Shirt tails are fine, but microfiber underpants are better, so I am told

I use a ray ban microfibre and I'm ashamed to admit I'll wipe the face down 6-12 times a day

I spray it down with watch cleaner, do not brush/rub, and then rinse with hot water. I use a cloth to absorb the water, never rubbing.

Dish soap is abrasive and I used to use it but no more.

I have a cloth at my desk at work, at my desk at home, in both of my cars and on my night stand so I wipe it as is needed (or when I need a little time with my watches).

Far too often (cleaning cloth in my pocket) ... I enjoy doing it (and seeing my wife's eyes roll) though, and isn't life for enjoying?

Lol, too often. I have micro fiber polishing clothes all over the place. I usually wash it in the shower at the gym after working out. But quick little wipe downs occur frequently...

Almost every morning wash it with warm water and dishwashing soap. Rinse the Oyster band off with hot water. Microfiber cloth wipe to make it SHINE

I have always washed my watches with diluted dish soap when I wash my glasses which is about every day. This is a reason my watches still look new and little to no bracelet stretch.

I rinse and dry my watches when I am done wearing them for the day before they are put away. I never know what I'll wear the next day so I like to put them away as pristine as possible. If I'm away with only one watch I don't really worry much about it at all.
